Once upon a time, I couldn't wait to be 18. Before I knew it, nearly three decades had passed. This is me, being me, with all that being me entails.

The shirt is cool...if only

it fit me!

I'm supposed to do something with this shirt when I give out Disturbed stuffs schwag at Uproar next month. The idea was for me to wear it...well as you can see by the pics that wearing it is out of the question...

The sleeves are too long on purpose. It's supposed to resemble a straightjacket. The album's called Asylum, after all!

This is the problem: the shirt is an XS, and I am not!

this is what's on the back of the shirt.

Check out my funky straightjacket shirt I can't wear and my equally, yet differently, funky shower curtain!

I was going to post something from YouTube

But it might be a little TOO over the top for some people, the parental advisory not withstanding. It is a lot to take in, and definitely not for the faint of heart.

However...

If you want to watch it, here's the link to it. It's Disturbed's "Asylum" video.

I was trying to find the first night of the Uproar festival where the band played "Remnants" for the first time (it's the intro to "Asylum" that's not in the video listed above), but I don't have time right now.

Horns up!

More Disturbed street team stuff

More stuff to pass out to concertgoers Saturday night at the Mayhem festival at the Zoo Amp...I love the hospital psych ward bracelets! And the stickers are shown front and back.

There's even a web addy on them: http://disturbedasylum.com ...but it doesn't seem to want to work for me right now...

Sigh.

Maybe as the release date gets closer, it'll be online without having send your computers credentials...

I'm out...

300 books of matches...

I got these via UPS the other day. This is part of the materials I'll be passing out after the Mayhem fest at the Zoo Amp on August 14 to promote Disturbed's new release. I'm supposed to get other things, too, like hospital bracelets (the album's called "Asylum" after all) and poster cards with the album art on it.

I probably should have said 299 books of matches, because I gave my mom a book of 'em.

This is my first street team experience, so we'll see how this goes.

Wanna book of matches? LOL
